Michelle Deslauriers

Michelle is a board-certified orthopedic clinical specialist and has treated patients with orthopedic conditions since 2005 in DC. She has also completed coursework in manual therapy, facial palsy, and custom orthotic casting. Michelle is versed in the newest physical therapy research and incorporates new findings to help clients get better faster.

Michelle received her bachelor of science in Exercise Science from the George Washington University. She earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree in 2005 from Washington University in St. Louis, one of the top ranked PT schools in the nation. As a result of her training with distinguished faculty, including Shirley Sahrmann, PT, PhD, FAPTA at Washington University, Michelle has an individualized and creative approach to treating patients.

Michelle is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and can develop safe, personalized exercise programs to help clients meet their goals.

Michelle is currently treating patients in a studio in the Dupont circle area. Please contact her for the exact location. Please note: this space is not fully accessible and does require the ability to use stairs. Michelle is working to find an accessible space and will gladly making house calls in DC or most nearby suburbs.
